White Chhuara, Dry Dates, Indian – Naturally Fibre-Rich

Chhuara (छोहाड़ा), known in English as dry dates, are dates naturally sun-dried until firm and chewy, with a concentrated, mellow sweetness. Our white chhuara is hand-sorted and cleaned, ready for everyday use. A traditional North-Indian pantry staple, often simmered in milk or used in homemade winter preparations and laddoos. Also spelt chhuhara, chuhara or chiwara. For larger pieces see our Jumbo White Chhuara; for a deeper flavour, our Black Chhuara. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
